Today is Em's birthday. Em was actually born in December, but has celebrated her birthday in April for a number of years. The story about why is somewhat involved and I don't really feel the need to tell it again. If you're interested in why, best to hear the story directly from Em anyway.

Happy Birthday to her! You two are quite an inspiring pair. It is quite obvious how much you love one another.

My Obachan similarly celebrates her birthday on a specific day in January, owing to various reasons.

Heh, my mom is the same deal, sort of; her driver's license says Dec. 15, but she celebrates it on Oct. 22... I suspect Em doesn't have the lunar calendar to blame for her situation, though! ;)
