While I've never been that into the LDS church's idea of "Family Home Evening," The Pea and I have started a new tradition: we spend Monday evening at the local community center swimming. She loves it so much that she talks about it all week long. The pool is also open on Wed. and Fri., so we go on those nights too.

It's wonderful to spend the time with her and she's learning to swim. I'm not sure it qualifies as FHE, but it's definetly a chance for us to be close.

There's a big, almost "Red State vs. Blue State" caliber debate about the spirituality of our annual children's program. I tend to be a hardcore "content" man myself. I'm sure I might feel differently when The Pea is in primary, but for now I'm just bored and trying to feel the spirit of the meeting.
